Sunday Sept. 14th, 2008 - Annual Picnic, 1:00 PM at Carey Run Sanctuary (Finzel, MD). We thought we’d try something different this year and hold our Fall Count tally at the picnic. That will help the compiler (Chuck Hager) to get all our results (well most of us anyway). If you didn’t count, come out anyway to meet and socialize with some of your fellow bird club members. The club will provide a meat platter and some drinks. Please bring a covered dish. Annual dues are due at this time so bring your checkbook. If you know of someone who might be interested in joining the bird club, this is a good opportunity to bring them along. Directions to Carey Run Sanctuary: Take the Finzel exit and turn left (South) until it ends. Then turn right and go straight at the fork in the road. Make your first right turn onto the unpaved road. Go across the bridge and then turn right (look for MOS sanctuary signs).
